I am betting Arsenal -0.5 here, it can be stated enough just how poor Manchester United are, yes Liverpool got lots of plaudits for beating them 4-0 but there is something badly wrong when you are losing 4-0 even against a side as good as Liverpool it was a case that if Liverpool really wanted to win by more they could have, such was their superiority on the night. United don’t look fit they don’t look organized and at this stage of the season they are nearly an automatic oppose each week no matter who they are playing, betting Arsenal after their good midweek win at Chelsea seems sensible as well as value.

Leicester City vs Aston Villa
I am betting over 2.5 goals here, I can see both these teams scoring goals in this match, how Leicester only scored the 1 goal at Goodison midweek v Everton is beyond me but equally they could have conceded far sooner than they did. Both team’s matches average well over 2.5 goals scored, with Villa’s games seeing an average of 2.84 goals and Leicester’s are even higher at 3.16 goals per match. Leicester will change their team with an eye on their European match against Roma coming up but they have enough attacking players to cause Villa problems still and there are rumours that Jamie Vardy may even see action from the bench today but happy to bet the over goals regardless.

I am betting City here, I think they will go for goals in this match, this could be seen as an opportunity to eat into Liverpool’s advantage in goal difference which is currently sits at +6 better than City. Watford are 7 points behind Everton and safety with a much worse goal difference and if they fall behind they will have no choice but to push to get back into the game and they are not built to attack and City could really expose them and I fancy City to win here and win well.

I am betting Brentford +0.5 in this match when they host Spurs today, Spurs have been poor of late performance wise and even their 4-0 defeat of Villa was never a 4-0 win, it was one of the most flattering score lines i ever witnessed and on another day Spurs could have even been beaten, they even lost the xG that day. It will be very interesting how Brentford play this match and the fact that I am unsure puts me off betting the over goals, they usually play on the front foot but they may sit a little deeper today which is something that does not suit this Spurs team. I am betting Bournemouth here, I really can see a huge drop off in Fulham’s performances from now until the end of the season is that going to be enough for Fulham to start winning matches maybe against some teams yes but against the fully motivated sides and the better teams I doubt it will be especially away from home. Luton take on Blackpool and i believe there is some value on the away side to take a point at least here today, this is a must not lose for the hatters, Blackpool on the face of it have little to play for but they still have a chance of finishing above Preston and given that they beat Birmingham City 6-1 on Monday it is clear they are still playing and fully motivated so betting Blackpool +0.5.

I am betting Peterborough today +1, Forest have been very well backed but they travel to Peterborough who still have an outside chance of staying in the Championship and are unbeaten in 4 matches and won’t feat a Forest side who must know they are probably going to have to gain promotion through the playoffs if they are to do it this season, i think it is an ask to beat any side by more than a goal in the Championship away from home and with Posh still fighting for their lives it is even more of an ask.
