Wolverhampton Wanderers v Arsenal
I am betting Wolves here +0.25, Arsenal come into this without a win in 5 in all competitions, Ok 3 of those were against Liverpool twice and Man City once but they were also knocked out of FA Cup by First division Nottingham Forest and they also were held at home by bottom of the league Burnley in a 0-0 draw. Wolves on the other hand are on a great run of form undefeated in 7 games in all competitions, those matches wins away to Brighton, Manchester United and Brentford in the league as well a home win v Southampton and a home draw v Chelsea. The team news is fine for the match for Wolves while Arsenal may have to play Ben White at full back due to injuries, Wolves have lost Traore to Barcelona but for me he is not real loss as he was mainly used from the bench, I can’t see many goals in this game so happy to bet the underdog +0.25.

Patronato – Argentinos Jrs
After a poor performance in 2021, Patronato are occupying the 25th spot of the point-average table. They have been winless in their last four league games (two draws and two losses). On a positive note, they lost only one of the last five at home (winning two and drawing two). The board recruited 11 new players, including Jonathan Herrera (from Independiente), Lucas Barrios (Defensa y Justicia), Carlos Quintana (Argentinos Juniors), Raul Lozano (Huracan) and Nicolas Castro (Sarandi Arsenal).
Argentinos Juniors failed to qualify for the Copa Sudamericana after an irregular campaign, finishing in 12th in the aggregate table with two wins, two draws and two losses in the last six games. The squad are mainly the same as last season, with two secondary new faces. Ten players left the club, but only Elias Gomez (sold to River Plate) and Matias Romero (to Banfield) represent relevant losses for coach Gabriel Milito. El Bicho also are on five away league games without a win, drawing one and losing four.
Argentinos lost some important players while Patronato added a couple of interesting and experienced strikers in Herrera and Barrios so I think they should win here.

Central Cordoba – Barracas Central
CA Central Cordoba closed up last year with a devastating 8-1 away defeat at Boca Juniors, which stopped a two-game winning streak. Having taken 43 points in 38 games last season, the team are now 21st in the point-average table. As hosts, El Ferrioviario are on four games unbeaten (three wins and one draw) without conceding. The club lost 15 players this summer.
Barracas Central returned to the top flight after 87 years thanks to beating Quilmes on penalties at Racing Club in the second promotion final in December (following a scoreless draw). In fact, they lost only one of the last nine matches in the second tier (the championship final to Tigre at Banfield), winning five and drawing three in regular time. El Guapo are on four away matches unbeaten, with three wins and one stalemate in that stretch. The club recruited 14 new faces to improve the squad ahead of the first-division challenge.
Barracas will play their first division game in 87 years and I can’t imagine a more motivated team than them. They’ve kept the same base of player that promoted in December and should have enough to get at least a draw in this debut.
