Armenia v North Macedonia
I am betting North Macedonia here tonight, itis hard to say if Armenia really believe they can qualify for the playoff round,they need to beat North Macedonia then beat Germany and hope Romania slip up against Iceland or Liechtenstein. I think there is a small chance Iceland could cause a shock in Romania but Armenia beating Germany is a huge ask, so it may be North Macedonia who have the great believe they can qualify if Romani slip up. Armenia started the group win 3 straight wins and since then they have not won in 5 and even dropped points to Liechtenstein at home, North Macedonia will fancy their chances here and with Armenia missing both first choice centre backs they will be even more hopeful of a win and increase the pressure on Romania ahead of their game v Iceland. So betting North Macedonia who are the better team for me and also the most realistic chance of the 2 of qualification to the playoffs.

Azerbaijan v Luxembourg
I am betting Luxembourg here away to Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan have looked so unimpressive in their games of late, Ireland beat them 3-0 at home and to be fair it was a game that could have been any score. They then lost away to Serbia 3-1 but Serbia probably should have won by more, they out shot Azerbaijan 22 shots to 6 and 11 shots on target to just 1. Gerson Rodrigues is once again missing and he is a loss but Azerbaijan had all the look of a bunch of players not playing for their manager in the last few games and with Luxembourg winning away in Ireland as well as being undefeated in 3 games in the last 14 months against Azerbaijan (winning 2 of them) they have showed they’re the better team of the 2 and worth a bet +0.25.

Russia v Cyprus
I am betting under 3 goals here, Russia have only scored 13 goals so far and defensively they are solid only conceding just 5, their games are averaging 2.25 goals per match, on the other hand Cyprus’s games are averaging even less goals with an average of just 2 goals a game. The way i see this game being played out is that Russia will control the game, probably take the lead and then look to see the match out with the minimum of fuss. Russia will be mindful that the group decider will be played on Sunday, they won’t want injuries so it is hard to see them push for many goals as there is no need to, so am betting the Under 3 goals to be scored. I was very tempted to bet Cyprus too but I would require the odds to rise another bit in order to do so, so just leaving this match with the under 3 goals bet as the bet.

Georgia v Sweden
I am betting Sweden here, Georgia is a tough place to go there is no doubt but they host a fully motivated and very talented team in Sweden who i can’t see making any mistakes in this match. Georgia have been poor of late and I thought they were a little fortunate to get a win the last day v Kosovo, prior to Georgia’s win in Kosovo they had lost 9 of their last 13, winning only 1 of those games. Sweden have been excellent of late bar a defeat in Greece, they beat Spain at home then defeated Kosovo and Greece winning to nil in Stockholm, they will fancy their chances of beating Georgia and know a repeat of their performance in the Euros against Spain from last summer on Sunday, if they beat Georgia, will mean they will go to the World cup finals, so i can only see a Sweden win.

Rep of Ireland v Portugal
I am betting Ireland here, Portugal only needs to avoid defeat in this match as well as the match against Serbia to book their spot in Qatar, so i find Ireland +1.25 very attractive and Portugal was also dealt a blow with news that Bernardo Silva misses out, he is a key player for Portugal and it really makes the handicap line value forthe home side. The Irish will also have 50,000 supporters to cheer them on so they will have a real advantage of a passionate backing and will also take great heart that they ran Portugal so close in the match in Portugal where they went down to a 2 very late Ronaldo goalsin a 2-1 defeat. Ireland have improved and can certainly get a point from this fixture a so I am betting them +1.25 to do so. I also think Ireland can keep it tight and I am also betting the under 2.75 goals here as i said Portugal only need to avoid defeat in this match and the next so they may not push too much and if they take the lead, they will likely sit on it and even at 0-0 is there any need forthem to push for a goal? No is the answer to that.
