Leicester City v Leeds Utd
Leeds has a new manager after last weekend but it is difficult how American coach Jesse Marsch can improve a team who have looked so poor, they have looked like the worst defensive team in the league for quite some time, they have conceded 5 more goals than the 2nd worst defensive team Norwich and 13 more than the 3rd worst defensive team in Watford which is staggering. For me the coaches’ tactics were exposed due to the fact Kalvin Phillips the star defensive midfielder has been out injured and they have simply no other player than can do the job he does for the team. Leeds have a new manager today but what can he do in just a few days coaching, my guess not a lot, as well as that Leeds probably won’t have Patrick Bamford from the start either today as he only returned to training this week and centre back Diego Llorente is a doubt while captain Liam Cooper is still also out injured along side the before mentioned Kalvin Phillips. Leicester have bounced back lately with Jamie Vardy coming back from injury and he made a difference in a good 2-0 away win against Burnley midweek and I think they can follow that up win a win against hapless Leeds today. I am also betting the over 3 goals, think in time Leeds will play tighter but I don’t expect to see any major changes after just a couple of day work by the new coach and his team, Leicester are still very open and that won’t change and I think there is has been an overreaction to the new Leeds manager coming in I don’t believe Leeds will be as defensively tight as the betting market suggests it may be and as well as that they have injuries to defensive players, betting Over 3 goals to be scored.

Newcastle Utd vs Brighton & Hove Albion
I am betting Brighton here, Newcastle are on a great run of form but I believe Brighton may be the bet today, Newcastle will be without key full back Trippier who have been so impressive since arriving from Atletico Madrid and they could also be with without star attacker Allan Saint-Maximin who even if he plays may not be fully fit due to the fact that he is unable to fully train with the team due to a calf strain. Brighton have not been in great form of late and while they don’t win a lot of games, they don’t lose a lot either and coach Potter having near a fully fit squad I believe Brighton are worth a bet off the draw no bet line.

Burnley vs Chelsea
I am betting Chelsea here today, they have not been at their best of late but they showed last weekend in the Carabao Cup, they showed what a good side they were and were probably even a little unfortunate not to beat Liverpool, they need to show us that kind of Chelsea more and they are very capable of it. Burnley have improved but were brought back down to earth midweek when they were beaten 2-0 by Leicester at home. Ben Mee is a major doubt for this match and if the Burnley centre back fails to make it that will be a blow and I expect Chelsea to make their superiority pay with a win today.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Crystal Palace
I am betting Wolves here -0.25 in what should be a tough and tight match, neither side have been overly impressive of late although i do think Palace have been particularly poor though and looked limited at times and despite a recent 4-1 win away to Watford, that game was certainly flattering to Palace as they beaten 1.72 to 0.82 on expected goals charts and before that it was the 28 of December before they won a match beating Norwich 3-0 at home. In team news, Semado is out for Wolves but I think he can be quite frustrating at times so I don’t believe he is much of a loss and while Wolves do struggle to win games at home, I do believe the current odds of Wolves -0.25 at 2.08 are far too big and worth supporting.

Liverpool vs West Ham
I am betting Liverpool here -1.5, West Ham for me are showing signs of being tired, they have had a busy time for such a small squad, they face a Liverpool side who are trying to chase down Manchester City and will look upon this weekend as a great chance to close the gap on their title rivals with Man City playing Man Utd tomorrow. A win will put pressure on City and with the way Liverpool are playing I think they can cover the handicap of -1.5 too. West Ham will be without starting full back Coufal and star midfielder Soucek is also a doubt for the game. Liverpool are on the up, they are fresh from winning the Carabao cup last weekend at Wembley and I think they will have too much for a fatigued West Ham team who went out against a weakened Southampton midweek in the cup.
Liverpool -1.5 min odds 1.83
Rangers vs Aberdeen
I am betting here when they face an Aberdeen team who have struggled of late despite Jim Goodwin coming in as their new manager, they only drew against a Dundee United side last weekend and they now face a very difficult task away to Rangers. It is probably fair to say there is not a lot of goals in this Rangers team but I make them value at -1.25 is a fair line and I can only see a Gers win in their pursuit of Celtic, so hopefully by 2 goals.
