Hearts vs Celtic

I am betting the home side here tonight and under 2.75 goals; I make them just about value with news that key Celtic players Kyogo Furuhashi and David Turnbull are both out through injury while Tom Rogic and Daizen Maeda are on international duty added to that captain Callum McGregor is a doubt and Celtic face a difficult task travelling to the Captial tonight with all those players missing or at best doubtful. Hearts have already beaten Celtic this season at home in a 2-1 win and should also be boosted by the return of defender John Souttar. I am also adding under 2.75 goals as a bet for this match, Furuhashi is a big loss to Celtic scoring ability and I believe the match will play tighter than expected and with close matches usually seeing less goals, I think the unders is worth a go as well as the home side +0.75.

Rangers vs Livingston

I am betting under 3 goals scored in this match, Rangers’ games are averaging 2.81 goals per match, they face a Livingston side who they have already played 3 times this season and only once has there been more than 3 goals in a game, in fact when Rangers played Livi at Ibrox earlier in the season it was only a 2-0 score line to the home team. Livingston have improved of late and I can’t see Rangers racking up the goals in this match so betting under 3 goals to be scored.

St Johnstone vs Dundee

This is a Tayside derby match and also sees the bottom 2 teams in the Scottish Premiership face off. St Johnstone suffered the embarrassment of losing to league 2 Kelty Hearts in the cup at the weekend, they will want to bounce back and face a desperate Dundee team who are just 2 points ahead of them in the league table. St Johnstone have lately signed a number of players mainly Nadir Ciftci from Turkey, he is an ex Celtic player and should be able to operate at this level without question, they have also bought a talented Irish central defender John Mahon from Sligo Rovers although he may not start due to fitness issues. I know it is a brave shout to bet St Johnstone as favourites having lost their last 10 matches but Dundee have lost their last 6 league matches and St Johnstone have kept their matches mainly competitive, St Johnstone are the value and know they can’t afford to lose tonight.
