Bournemouth v Middlesbrough
I am betting Boro +0.5 away to Bournemouth as well as under 2.5 goals, I think Bournemouth would nto think it is the end of the world if they were taking a point from this match, they have failed to score in back-to-back games now and will find it very difficult again at home to Boro. These teams last met in a 1-0 Boro win and I think it is fair to say Bournemouth are starting to get nervy and I can see a draw being acceptable to both sides. Boro are missing their full back for this match but other than that the team news is fine and betting Boro +0.5 under 2.5 goals which has occurred in 4 of Boro’s last 5 away games.
Middlesbrough +0.5 min odds 1.92
Under 2.5 Goals min odds 1.82
Birmingham City v Coventry City
I am betting Birmingham City at home to Coventry, Coventry have at best a outside chance of a playoff spot but 6 points behind with only 5 games left to play, it is difficult to believe how much they believe they can do it, Birmingham are at home and I have lowered home advantage for this game and increased Coventry’s motivation and I still have value on Birmingham +0.5, Birmingham are missing a number of players but I believe that is factored into the odds.
Birmingham City +0.5 min odds 1.80
Huddersfield Town v QPR
QPR are missing a number of players but I think they are a great price away to Huddersfield Town, the Terriers are massively overachieving and they are nowhere near the 3rd best team in the league, QPR are desperate for a result today, they have only a faint chance of the playoffs but a win could get their season back on track, they are running out of chances to get back in the playoff picture and they need to start taking them. Last weekend away to Preston they were the better team and deserved at least a point, odds against +0.5 is simply too big to pass up and I am betting it.
QPR +0.5 min odds 1.95
Argentine Primera Division Tip Previews
Aldosivi – Rosario Central
Aldosivi secured their fourth consecutive victory in the Copa Liga Profesional, when beating Lanus 2-1 away thanks to goals from Martin Cauteruccio and Leandro Maciel. Having accumulated 16 points in this competition, the team are third-placed in group B and also opened an eight-point gap over the relegation zone in the respective table. At home, Martin Palermo’s men are on three games unbeaten, having won two and drawn one since losing to Boca Juniors in round two.
Rosario Central continue struggling. Last Friday, the team registered a 2-2 home draw against Colon to make it four league matches without a win (one stalemate and three losses). El Canalla are occupying the penultimate spot in group B on eight points, almost without chances of fighting for a ticket to the playoffs. On away turf, Central earned four points in as many games this term, having won one, drawn one and lost two.
Can’t understand the odds here, why this awful Rosario Central without their best striker (Marco Ruben) due to injury would be almost favorites against a red hot team like this Aldosivi, so I’m definitely taking the hosts here.

Tigre – Huracan
Thanks to a penalty netted by Mateo Retegui in the 95th minute, Tigre took a valuable point on their visit to Independiente following a 1-1 away draw last Saturday. The newcomers continue producing a remarkable campaign, having taken 16 points, which allows them to remain occupying one of the playoff spots in group B. El Matador are on three league games unbeaten, winning two and drawing one. In fact, they succumbed to a single defeat this term, with four victories and four stalemates so far. At home, Tigre are on 12 matches unbeaten, having won eight and drawn four in that time.
Meanwhile, Huracan’s winless streak has been extended to four league matches (two draws and two defeats) last Monday, when the team lost 2-1 at home to Barracas Central despite having taken the first lead. As a result, El Globo remain on 11 points in group B and are now five points below the last qualifying berth, occupied by Boca Juniors. On away turf, Frank Kudelka’s men collected five points from 12 on offer as a product of one victory, two stalemates and one defeat.
Tigre are in good form, very confident, and I think they should take this one at home.

Newell’s – Patronato
Newell’s Old Boys’ five-match unbeaten streak of four victories and one draw in league action came to an end last Saturday, when the team ended up losing 1-0 away at Union Santa Fe in an even game. As a result, La Lepra have been displaced from the playoff spots in group A as they remain on 16 points, which is still a good campaign for them. At home, Javier Sanguinetti’s men managed nine points from 12 on offer so far, having won three and lost one this season.
Patronato were unlucky to suffer a 1-0 home defeat to Banfield last Sunday, when they wasted several goalscoring opportunities. As a result, the team remain on seven points in the Copa Liga Profesional and continue occupying the bottom spot of the relegation table, having registered two victories and two losses under recently-appointed coach Facundo Sava. On the road, El Patron won one and lost three this term.
Even though Patronato looks improved since the coach change, I still rate Newell’s as a better team, especially at home and at this odds I have to bet on them.
