Can’t see a poor Everton team troubling Arsenal. I tipped Sunderland last round and it was almost a winner. Everton are in bad form. Still only managed to beat new promoted teams so far. Price is 1.4 at Paddypower Aston Villa v Portsmouth Villa lost to Chelsea last round. I was expecting better but from what I hear Chelsea were a different class. I am willing to back them again this week though. Portsmouth are probable rivals for the 5th spot. They have had some decent results this year so far but Villa are strong at home and should win. Price is 1.83 at PaddyPower Bolton v Blackburn No strong opinion on this one. Bolton did mess up my West Ham bet by winning 3-1. Heard they were goal keeping errors rather than Bolton having any decent strike force. Will have to go for the draw. Price is 3.25. Fulham v Sunderland Too early to tell whether Fulham have the home form this year. An impressive win against Arsenal and a win against Bolton but a loss to West Ham. Sunderland are a hard working team and could get something here. They were just a minute away from beating Arsenal. Another draw, Price is 3.25. Liverpool v Wigan Interesting game this from a betting point of view. I remember last year this game ended 1-1 and ruined an accumulator for me. Will lightening strike twice? Looking at the odds, 10/1 at Betdirect, its got to be worth a couple of pounds. No Torres in the side for Liverpool. The pool have been lucky so far this season. Maybe this is where their luck runs out. Draw no bet is 7/1 for Wigan at Bet365. Man Utd v West Brom Home win. Banker of the weekend. The double with Chelsea pays 1.94 at Bet365. I thought West Ham were picking up some form under Zola but a 3-1 home defeat put an end to that. Hull to win at 2.63 at Bet365. Stoke City v Tottenham The foot of the table clash. Time for a Spurs win? Maybe but I’ll not be betting on it. 2.3 for an away win for the team at the bottom of the table is very poor. Stoke are favourites to go down so I expect why the price on the home win is so high. Stoke have won only once this season but that was 3-2 against Villa. Stoke on the Asian Handicap +0.25 even money at Bet365. Newcastle v Man City City are still priced on potential rather than substance. I am willing to back them this week though. Last round, Newcastle were away to a poor Everton side and managed a draw. Still going to back against them until they get their manager and owner sorted.
