The End of Countdown?

Having lost both their presenters within a week William Hill are now offering 5/2 that this is the last series of Countdown. “As far as we are concerned Carol will be harder to replace than Des and sadly this could be the end of this cult show,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
Should Channel 4 decide to replace the presenters Hills make Tom O’Conner and Michael Aspel their 8/1 favourites.
