Lewis Hamilton 10/1 to win final 3 races

As Formula One approaches the business end of the season Lewis Hamilton is just 1/3 with Paddy Power to win his first World Driver’s Championship.

Hamilton, who has been repeatedly expressing the mantra ‘points mean prizes’ is 9/2 to not win any of the final three races in Japan, China and Brazil but to still be crowned world champion as he sits on a seven point lead.

After today’s win for Lewis Hamilton, William Hill price him at evens to win in Hungary and he is now 4/7 to win the drivers championship with Kimi Raikkonen 5/2 for the drivers.

“Any Hamilton victory is a great result for punters but the golf has been the big betting event of the weekend so it could have been a lot lot worse,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

Lewis Hamilton is 7/4 to follow up his win at the British Grand Prix by taking the flag in German. But the real money has been for him to win the drivers Championship at 11/8. “We make Kimi Raikkonen our narrow favourite to beat Lewis in both Germany and in the drivers championship but punters disagree and the money has all been for Lewis Hamilton,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
