William Hill have opened their betting for who will replace Des O’Connor as the next host of Countdown and make Tom O’Connor their 8/1 favourite alongside long-term host Carol Vorderman. “We got stiffed last time when punters backed Des from 25/1 to 2/1 in the space of a few hours and can only hope that we have got it right this time,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams (more…)
