Paul Hart was the first casualty in the Premiership sack race and Hills odds suggest that there will be a further two sackings in the season at 15/8, with five more offered at 5/1. Phil Brown is the 1/1 favourite to be the next manager to be shown the door, Gary Megson is second favourite at 7/4 and the under pressure Rafa Benitez a 7/1 shot. New Portsmouth Manager Avram Grant is a 14/1 shot to be the next man out.

“The sack race is an ever popular market and so far most of the bets in the new book have been for Benitez at 7/1,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
