Odds on Mark Hughes To be Sacked Shorten
April 9, 2009 by Ben Filed under: Football
AFTER losing to Hamburg, Manchester City are now 11/4 with William Hill to get through to the next round and 9/1 to win the tournament while Mark Hughes is 8/11 to be gone by the first day of next season (evens still to be there).
Ireland gave City a first minute lead but Mathijsen scored for Hamburg after 9 minutes. After the break, Trochowski scored a penalty and Guerrero scored in the 79th minute to take a great advantage to Eastlands.
City now have win by 2 clear goals to have any chance of progressing. Its not an impossible job given City’s home record and the away goal is nice bonus. Still, 11/4 to progress makes them the outsiders and have an uphill battle.
UEFA Cup Odds William Hill:
Werder Bremen 11/4
Hamburg 3/1
Shakhtar 4/1
Din Kiev 6/1
Man City 9/1
Paris S G 9/1
Marseille 16/1
Udinese 20/1
