Odds on 147 Score at Sheffield World Snooker Chmapionship
April 29, 2009 by Ben Filed under: Sports Betting
Bookies William Hill lost just £146 after Stephen Hendry scored a maximum in his World Championship quarter-final match at the Crucible. Hills had been offering 4/6 that there would not be one and 11/10 that there would be and you can now get 5/2 that there will be a second 147 at the Crucible.
“The 147 bet was one of the original specials and in the past was very popular with payouts of over £10,000. Fortunately we took almost nothing this year and have been saved a decent payout,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
If there are no other 147 breaks, Hendry will win £147,000 for the maximum and £10,000 for the highest break.
You can view the 147 break on the BBC website.
