WILLIAM HILL PAY OUT ON CURBS AS FIRST BOSS OUT

WILLIAM HILL are paying out to clients who backed long time favourite Alan Curbishley to be the first Premiership manager to leave his club this season – but they will ALSO pay out to those who backed Kevin Keegan, should it transpire that he either resigned from, or was sacked by, Newcastle, prior to Curbishley’s departure from West Ham.

‘It is not fair to keep Curbishley backers waiting, but at the same time it could still emerge that Kevin Keegan effectively ceased to be Newcastle boss before Curbs departed West Ham’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. ‘These two were the front-runners in the market, so the form book has worked out, and both of them represented five figure payouts for us.’
