English League 2 Mini Preview 2009-2010

It is impossible for me to start anywhere else than Notts County. With the arrival of Sven the Magpies are aiming to fly high. The signings of Lee Hughes and Ben Davies will also help there cause. With Rotherham now starting on a level playing filed as everyone else i feel this could be the year they push for promotion.
Two other teams who suffered points deductions last season are Darlington and Bournemouth. Although these both did extremely well to avoid the drop i don’t think they have what it takes to go for promotion. Shrewsbury,Chesterfield,Bradford and Bury will be pushing for a play off spot. Avoiding the drop will be top of the agenda for Burton Albion,Torquay,Morcambe and Aldershot. After the departure of Nigel Clough Albion seemed to stutter over the line but Paul Peschisolido will be hoping his boys have go what it takes to keep themselves afloat.
