Bookies William Hill have cut the price of Dimitar Berbatov starting the season at United from 1/2 to 4/9 following support today and have also trimmed him from 7/1 to 6/1 to be the top Premiership goal scorer. Meanwhile Chelsea continue to be by far the best team to win the Premiership and are currently the 13/8 second favourites with William Hill. Ronaldo is 5/6 to go and 5/6 to stay!
“The betting suggests that the potential move to Manchester United for Berbatov is getting closer. The Ronaldo saga at United has definitely put people off the champions and Chelsea are nearing a half a million pound loser for us,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
